Imagining beautiful thing

Assalamu'alaikum, I'm forever grateful to Him, alhamdulillah....

There will be a birthday bash for Jan and Feb babies for gurls in the office. I'm asked to bake a bit, I hope I can fulfill the trust.

I always start with imagination, normally a baking project starts with an order. I will ask my customer on their preference and at the same time, telling them my way of doing things too. 

1) I don't really like to use much colouring, try at my level best to make things natural,
2) Will ask how actually the customer want to have - on their cake, and
3) Finally things will be on my imagination.

So, here's one for the next celebration, and I'm buying things this afternoon.

Really hope this will materialised, Allah, please give me the strength. Ameen.

Managed to do this, but, only 2 layers and that weigh about 3kg!!

Here it is.

Topped with choc balls (wafer, almond, hazelnut)

 The layers are :
1) Oreo cream
2) Hazelnut cream with hazelnut chunks

I spoilt the intention of doing surprise birthday bash for one of us last week. And at the same time kept thinking of the cake I longed for during our visit to the cafe.

Tried hard and pray too that this would be a wonderful cake for a 2nd surprise for our friend. Alhamdulillah, it turns out good.

The cake is choc moist cake with these ingredients :

300g AP flour

100g serbuk koko

1 st BP

1 st BS

4 bj telur (original 3 eggs size A)

400g gula

1 st esen vanila

250ml susu cair (saya guna susu segar)

250ml minyak jagung

250ml air panas

The filling

375ml whip cream

1 tbsp Nutella spread

120g roasted hazelnuts chunk

Topping

150ml ganache

50g callebaout dark choc button

1 pack strawberry

1 pack bluberry

200g mixed nuts choc

Alhamdulillah ....everyone loves it.

recipe of oil and garlic

Assalamu'alaikum. Only found out today. Had this once at one of eatery place I went and was crazy about it. Weird name for me : olio n aglio spaghetti. I topped it with barbecued olio aglio chicken. Turns out so yummy!!

Oolio = Oil
Aglio = Garlic

Ideally, the main thing in it is oil and garlic, yerp, besides the spaghetti....

New Year 2016

Assalamu'alaikum, I'm forever grateful to Him, alhamdulillah....

It's been a very long time since I last wrote in this blog. I'm into it, still managing time, the new year, new schedule, new roles...

May Allah bless me and my family with his barakah and rahmah. And may Allah bless all my fellow muslim family too, ameen.

Recently my life seems pretty boring and mundane. It seems those challenges I'm in now made me less energetic, less active, less focus, lacking in many ways. I did some procurement for my department with many simple mistakes, I focus less on my husband's physiotherapy, I feel helpless and I don't really know why is this happening. And I'm turning 43 this year.  The more I want to have control over myself, the more I feel I'm loosing it. It's Him that I have to turn to. But I really don't want to go by the flow. I want to do something worth for myself, my family and my child. I really have to put all this written, really use all the time I have coz I should know that I don't have enough.
